Hi, Im new to the forum, but I have fished Flaming Gorge for over 30 years skipped a few years, when I didnt have a boat, I had a 17 ft center console, and just upgraded to a 21 ft Thunder jet with 150 and 8 hp Yamaha's Kokanee is pretty much the only fish I keep, can't beat a smoked Kokanee, but I mostly go for lakers, I live near Brigham City (northern Utah) so I usually fish Bear lake, Strawberry, and Flaming gorge, When I only have a couple hours to fish I hit Willard bay for Wipers and Walleye as Its only 5 min. from my house, I currently have two penn manual downriggers, but plan to add a pair of electric's soon, I have lurked on this forum a few times, and it seems to be a great bunch of folks, Thanks thumbsup

I am a lurking resident here. whistlersmother I fish those lakes you mention too. Enjoy going up to the Bear in the spring, fall, and winter. SuperD is soon to be my neighbor across the street. AFDan & Petty are nearby. There is a kokaholic registered here and he's also nearby. Great bunch of fish addicts here hitmyfish so pre-sign your divorce papers rolleyes if your hanging with this group. Watch for our gathering we do at Bear L in the spring & fall.

Thanks Bduck! Im not to worried about divorce papers, she has stuck around for over 30 years, watching me flush money away, fishing is affordable compared to a Race Vehicle for the saltflats.....101ok101
