Jig your way to more kokanee (& CHINOOK SALMON)

Follow-up to original kokanee post with chinook salmon photos while vertical jigging Kandlefish in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Shown is Eric Thomson from Port Angeles. Largest king was 45 lbs. Despite a very poor 2010 chinook season in the Strait, it was pretty good for the 1 1/2 & 2 oz Kandlefish.

Wow! Nice fish. I wish our Kokanee were 1/10th that size and we'd all be in heaven.
