Kokanee fishing at Strawberry

I'm new to this sight, so a big hello to y'all.
My family and I fish Strawberry alot, summer and winter. My question is: Do you think the Kokanee fishing was better this year than in past years? Maybe were learning a few more tricks of the trade. I do know that we caught far more kokanee this year than we ever have before. How did everyone else do this year compaired to other years? Thanks, Zugbug

I to had a better year at the berry. But i've also learned so much about kokany in the last 2yrs that im sure theat helped to.

I caught more kokanee this year at strawberry than the last 4 combined, but i also fished the soldier creek side more than the last 4 years combined.

I didn't fish there myself this year, but several of my brother's friends had a much better year this year at the Berry fishing for kokes than previous ones. They fish the Soldier Creek side as well.
