FYI -
There is a radio station here in Washington KJR that has a Saturday morning radio show called Northwest Wild Country. They are starting a 13 week program called Kokanee Nation. They are going to be discussing all things kokanee. There are several ways to watch/listen..

On the internet you can find kjr950 Seattle online and listen to it. It is on from 6-8 Saturday mornings

If you are a Comcast customer and live in Washington and Oregon Comcast sports airs their show again from 6-8..

There should be some great information

Just thought I would pass this along!

Kokanee Nation-Sweet show

Listened to Kokanee Nation on I Heart radio this morning. Great show ,awesome to hear some serious koke talk. Plus Your 6 am is our 9 am so I didn't have to get up too early.nananana

Thanks eenakok for telling us about the show.Any idea how long it will run?

13 weeks-

My Dad called me this morning and told me about it. Said it was pretty informative. I missed it as I was studying all night and slept in!101thumbsdown101

contest

So what was the winning guess for the number of dodgers on the control table? How cool to be able to spend a day with Zog.

I was going to post some info about Kokanee Nation but I see that Eenakok beat me to the punch! :)

Since I'm a big fan of Northwest Wild Country Radio they so happen to have the show on Frontier channel 77 or 517 HD (Snohomish Co channels other areas vary) if you are already awake at that time..
AND!!! For those who don't want to wait for next Saturday, they also have an awesome website that has info on Saturday's broadcast..

Bill "Zog" Herzog, one of the show's personalities, and I'm sure some of you know him already, is one of the most influential and knowledgeable anglers in the Northwest when it comes to fishing. Calling him OBSESSED about fishing is putting it mildly. This guy wakes up, eats, breathes, works, probably oozes fish oil out of his pores, and sleeps fishing!
A wildly entertaining character on the show and (i've met him before) in person. Enough of my rant, here's the link

I apologize if I stole your thunder Eenakok...

Enjoy!
