Kokanee on the Utah Side

We spent several days fishing around Jarvie's Bay.
The fishing was good but the fish only averaged about 17" long.

We used squids and spinners behind Dodgers that Kelly painted for us.
We caught fish equally on all rigs.

I was happily surprised by the small amount of other boats on the water while we were there..

Good Job Grandpa. We just spent 6 days at the Gorge out of Buckboard. Fishing has never been better in the 6 years that I've been going. Watermelon dodger with a watermelon apex did the trick as well as all the usual. Orange dodger orange squid, Pink dodger pink hoochies, pink super squids etc. Some days seemed to catch them at will. Can't wait for next year! There were 4 of us on the boat. Thought I'd better clarify the stringer shot.
