Kokanee vs Sockeye

Yes, I know Kokanee are a land locked sockeye.
I am going to Lake Wenatchee tomorrow to fish for sea run sockeye which I have never fished for before. Do you use the same terminal tackle as for Kokanee?

Small dodger, followed by a pink micro hoochie or red tandem hooks and pink/red beads were what they were using in Sekiu last week. I have not fished for them in lake Wenatchee but would think these combos would work as well.

Have a buddy out there right now. Fishing is slow, they only have 4. I was up last Thur and Fri. We caught our fish on plain 2/0 red hooks(barbless)12-14" behind 2/0 and 0 silver dodgers. 45-65' on the down riggers. Go slow, slower than for kokanee….like .8-1.0

It is barbless only in Sekiu so I would be surprised if it wasn't also barbless at Lake Wenatchee.
