So I would first like to apologize for being late on my reports but I needed to make room for the new pictures…. “Hint to admin Please up my memory to add pictures”….

Green Peter has been very slow but there are some nice fish to be had 15 to 16 inches… I’m planning on fishing it this Saturday so I’ll give you all a up to date report. "My best rig R & K pink hoochie"

Crescent Lake – I fished it in May and was very happy with the size of the fish 14 inches… My guess is that they are running 16 to 17 inches and I marked a ton of them when I fished it… "My best rig Wee tad or wiggle hoochie"

Detroit Lake – There are fish to be had on the Kenny Creek Arm all running around 14 inches, but there isn’t very many of them. They do fight like crazy and are some of the reddest fish I’ve seen this season. "My best rig Silver Apex"

Wickiup – If you are planning a trip this week or next week hit Wickiup… There are some 2 + lb fish to be had and they are in excellent shape, plus they are some of the hardest hitting hardest fighting fish I have ever hooked…. The fishing is slow but when you hook into one you’ll have to put the boat in neutral and bring in all the other gear then hold on for the fight of a lifetime. I would hurry up because a few of the fish are showing the first signs of pre spawn. "Best rig Wedding rings"..

how slow?

By the picture it didn't look to slow. There must of been atleast 30 there and that would be a great day of fishing for me. Im heading to odell this weekend and would like to try wickiup also, but I only fished there one time before and got skunked. I have no clue were to start, weather you need to stay in the deep chanel our fish the shollows. If you could give me a little help that would be great. You also said you might swing by cresent on your way home, I didn't see a report so thinking you didn't have time.

The picture from Wickiup was three days of fishing and the best day I had was 17 on Saturday.... I didn't hit Crescent Lake on the way back because the wife and I were tired and I had to work the next day...

I didn't have the map of Wickiup on my GPS so I just fished the middle of the lake I had a 1 1/2 mile block of the lake figured out that didn't get any shallower than 48'. I stacked my downriggers one rod at 45 and the other at 25 and on the other side 40 and 20... I was using a long setback 50 @ 40 feet and I had my best luck with Wedding Rings...
