So we are getting close to the end of koke season once again. Went out for the holiday and had spectacular weather all three days. Fishing is still good with lots of action. The Kokanee Creek Tackle "Black Pearl Spinner" was the top producer once again, followed by "Hot Damn Spinner" and the "Hot Pink Squid" We picked up quite a few silvers this trip, and just a couple of reds. We fished Breezy at 70 feet, .9 - 1.1 speed for the best fishing. We also fished Anvil for a while with lost of fish that were all silver, but nothing near the size up north. We went up to the parade Saturday night and had a great time with lots of great friends. Left Lucern sunday afternoon and hit Breezy for a couple hours landing a couple nice silvers. Great weekend, hope you all also had a great time.

Smaller silvers at Anvil

Good job on the bigger kokes-I don't know what was up with those smaller silvers, I didn't see any like that in August that were as small as some of the ones we caught in Middle Marsh towards Anvil on Saturday.

I do know that alot of fishermen were catching and releasing them without even getting the net out that we saw on Saturday.
