A quick report a week late for Berryessa. We went the Sunday of Memorial day weekend. In the end it was a slow day and we only ended up with 5 from 13-15 inches from 20-25 feet mainly on Hoochies and a few Assassin spinners. It seemed like there were only about 10 boats total fishing. Surprisingly the boat traffic was light for a major holiday and we drove right up to the ramp to take it out. Fished all over but the activity came at Skier's cove early afternoon. On with the pics...

Heading out... the wife was cold....

The wind did blow for an hour early then turned calm...

This fish laughed at our offerings!

I dropped down deeper to a plankton layer... found a follower but he would not bite!

Nice report Kevin,

Tough right now at Berry.
I haven't had a chance to get out for nearly a month, but I guess its good timing. Hopefully their mood will change this weekend for the derby. You fishing in it? I am not. I may get out there on Sat anyway if I can make it happen.
Good luck if you're competing.
