Any word on the launch? Was thinking of making a trip up there tomorrow but don't want to waste the gas if the launch is under a foot of snow.

Hope to get down there Monday. Depends on the weather. My wife thinks it's too far to drive. It's only 60 miles each way. Lets say 8 gallons of gas at $4.00 is only $32.00

My wife and I fished Lake Cavenugh yesterday ( Sunday). We could not make it before noon. Caught 2 fish close to the ramp. they were on the surface to about 10 feet down. both were caught long lining a red wedding ring w/flasher,white corn and scent. water temp was 40.4-same as air temp.
had a few long distance releases all in the first hour. Then came the rain. After an hour of cold rain in an open boat, we called it quits.
Kept two fish for supper. 1 14 inch cutt, and 1 12 inch kok. Still alive when we reached home 1 hour latter. love the insulated live well.

well looks like you got the ball rolling, me and my family will be up there the last weak in augest. hope the fishing is good. cant wait to see the cabin.
