Do any of you have experience with Kokanee at Lake Roosevelt. We have caught them occasionally when trolling for trout; sure would like to target them. They are typically in the 18 to 20" size, fat and NICE.
Thanks for the help. - Alan 101chromefish101

I have played with that off and on over the years. It's fun when you are getting them but it seems like it's tough to catch the bite. My best outings have been by going in at Keller ferry and running downstream to Swawilla Bay area. Apex's, red or rainbow, with a bit of worm or corn. Also nailed a few nice one's on pink squids. I always seem to come home with more trout than Kokanee though.

Thanks Brisco - We fished Swawilla two weeks ago. Fished Kokanee gear and caught 5 nice trout. Seems to be the story though. I have also fished trout gear and caught kokes....go figure. Alan
