sorry the post is late, ive been busy transitioning to college.
The final trip to the gorge couldn't have landed on a worse weekend. To put it simple the weather sucked!!! The reports of small catches over the previous few weeks didn't help, but we still went.
The only time the weather was good (Saturday morning til about 2) was decent koke fishing. Didn't do much until about ten o'clock when we finally found a few numbers of fish. Caught 17 up to 3 pounds and a few little macs. Rocky Mountain Tackle as always, along with a few secret tricks got them biting. Then the "air movements" began and never ended until the rain came.
Fighting the elements on Sunday yielded a lousy 6 kokes and 3 or 4 macs. This did give us the biggest koke of the year just shy of 4 pounds.
Kokes were 55-70 feet macs 70-80
Already cant wait til next year!!!
