Lk Stevens on Saturday

Fished Lk. Stevens Saturday afternoon with the wife and my dad. This was our first kok trip of the season and we got 3! My dad got one that was 14" on a purple apex with worm and corn. Nice day to get out!

So far this season at Stevens i'm 0-6 going after them picky Koks..

Some day i'll get keyed into them.

Fished today with a friend and went 5 for 8 with a bunch of drive-bys, early bite and then mostly went dead. 1o - 25' down and purple in any type of lure was the go to... Great day on the lake!

Fished today 6.2.12 with a friend and landed 8 and missed a bunch of other hits. Got a 16"er last fish of the day messing around with a side planer (Seps) trying to see how it would work..had about 100' out on a flatlined white/chart. dodger and yellow/white spoon and the planner went under! Since I was messing around I started cranking it in and figured I had caught another line...20' from the boat I see a flash of silver! There's a fish on there - the Kok had wrapped 2 other lines up and was going berserk at the boat...nice way to end the day. Most of the fish were caught at 20' today. Purple still rules!
