Lowrance HDS7 Paddle Wheel?

I have a Gen 1 Lowrance HDS7 and a paddle wheel speed sensor with blue cable (no network) I reset the unit, OOPS, and lost the programming for the speed sensor. Any help appreciated.

Also any thoughts on the Airmar transducers?

Can you define, "lost the programming for the speed sensor"? Are you asking how to put it back on your screen display?

Morning SuperD
The HDS does not come with a paddle wheel speed sensor, only the GPS speed that is worthless in moving water etc. I had to program the HDS to get the speed wheel to show up on the display. I was having trouble with the unit showing fish so I hit the "reset" back to factory original and lost the programming for the speed wheel.

thumbsupUpdate....talked with a nice lady named Ppatty at Lowrance. She walked me through the process of putting the data OVERLAY back on the sonar page screen. Also helped with a couple of other questions. Nice to have support from Lowrance; didn't used to be that way. Maybe they want the business after all! Kudos to Patty. - Alan
