just like everybody we caught lots of 2-2 1/2 lb. fish some right at 3lb. We then caught the winning kokanee 4.25 lb. - 22.3/8 ", narrowly beating out the 2nd place winner by 3/4 ". Bread & Butter Spinner and Black Splatter Spoon caught most. The big one was on a Pink Splatter Spoon on 10 " leader behind a Moonshine Dodger at 32 ft. @ 1.6 mph out of Buckboard. Lucerne did a great job of putting on the tournament. Congratulations to everyone that fished and placed in the derby.

Congrats Art, way to go. We also caught alot of 2.5 to 3.0 lb. fish on my favorite...The Black Pearl behind a Silver Streak dodger and a Black Splatter Spoon behind a Moonhsine dodger. The largest Koke we brought aboard went 3.35 lb. Thanks again to the sponsors and staff for putting on the derby.

Congratulations Team Art on 1st place with 5 minutes to spare (and remember it's way better to win by 3/4 inch than to lose by 3/4 inch!).

Congratulations Art,Man I wish the Gorge wasn't so far from North Carolina.101chromefish101

trollmonkey, I live 3hrs away and its like I lost my way to the Gorge. But I'll be there during the last week of June for my first trip there this year. I usually get about 5 or 6 trips during the summer. Catch a flight & come out and join the group thats heading up there. I have room on my boat.

Congradulations Art. I won't miss next years annual event hopefully. awesomereport

I noticed this is your first post here on KFF. Welcome aboard. I'm curious too see if you were in the Derby this year? If you were, did you place in the tournament. What was your teams largest Kokanee. Just curious
