Lucerne Valley Campground

Just received this card from Lucerne Valley Campgrounds. Here is information on their sites. Last year was a real mess but appears things are looking up for one the popular Flaming Gorge campgrounds. As far as I know also Loop E is a reservation only(unless that has changed) and Loop F is a first come first serve basis. There is also a group site campground available by reservations. Hope to see some familiar faces this year. thumbsup

I found out today through a friend who spoke with Jerry, Said that due to the warmer than normal temps and lack of frozen ground and snow, the camp ground project is so far ahaead of schedule that should be done as early as this spring, minus warm enough temps to get the Asphalt down. Good news for all of you staying down at Lucerne.

Update campgrounds 5-21-2012

Just talked to the folks at Lucerne. The reconstruction of the campgrounds is completed. Contractors will be releasing campgrounds back to Lucerne Marina in the middle of the week for upcoming Memorial weekend. The loops that have been reconstructed will not have tent camping this year do to new trees, bushes and hydro-seed until growth is established.
