Hey guys-
I'm headed up this Friday to chase mac's I'm hoping for some advice?
How far behind the rigger do you run your lures when fishing for macs???? What's your favorite lure when chasing macs this time of year???
I appreciate the help!

I would like to know if they are bitting are still spawning

There getting ready to spawn. some smaller ones can be picked up here and there. they will start stacking up pretty good in lynnwood bay and then the snaggers go get on them.

The lake trout are stacked like cord wood in Lucerne! Here is the bad news they are NOT biting! We caught 1 about 8lbs and one about 3lbs. We threw the kitchen sink at them with no response.............
I spoke with a couple boats jigging for them and they were averaging 1 fish every 2 hours. Slow Slow Slow.
On a positive note we quite fishing for lake trout in the afternoons and went in search of Rainbows and they are on FIRE! Nice bows 17" plus were readily had.
