So sorry for the late report, computer problems again.

So my crew arived at my place at 4:30 am Saturday, and ready to go fuled with coffie and co-co. Gear ready to go, including tackle box and my seat. So straight to Lake Meridian we go. After the normal duties of getting the boat wet we head straight for the middle of the lake on the boat ramp side. It does not take long and lil 5 year old Amanda has her very fist kokanee in the boat.

After watching her Dad get smacked a bit more than my rig, the switch-o-change-o was on. And I warned him he was in for it. Things realy heated up, we hooked 4 doubbles but only were able to land 1 of them. And Shane hooks one before letting his downrigger to the depths. After a short battle the hooks pull out to reveal this catch.

Yep, it's a eye! Kinda grossed me out a liul bit too. Amanda, Shane and I took turns catching and netting fish. We had a outstanding trip, and did not lose very many hook-ups. And ended up with 15 kokes in 90min!!!!

Before leaving for the day we hooked up another boat with a rig and some DNA corn. And gave them some pointers on where and how to get some kokes. The hot set-up was a 4/0 seps disco dogger w/ pink wedding ring, and the other was a 4/0 seps w/ reflective tape and orange wedding ring. Both rigs were baited with DNA kokanee gel scented white corn. 20 pulls back and 25'-30' of cable on the down rigger.
