Today marks the end of my summer fishing. I must return to work on Monday but thankfully I was able to get in another day on the water. The fish are beginning to change for the spawn as you can see in this photo of a nice large male. For depth the fish were split between 35-50 feet and struck at two different lure/color combos. The two set-ups I used were a green/silver flasher with a pink lure, and a silver flasher with a spoon. I have not fished on weekend day for over a month, and by 10:00 I was reminded why as the ski boats began making their way through the fishing boats. Although the humpies fight great I'll leave the brood stock alone now so they can make more fish.thumbsup
