I fished the lake Fri. & ended up with 5 nice fat 15" but Sat. couldnt get a hit before I had to leave after 3 hours.
I talked with some friends from Ca. on the way in who had 10 in a couple of hours! The fish are still in good shape showing just a little pink & one had the start of a hooked nose. I think the fishing will get better in the next couple of weeks. They are running deep, about 60' so glow gear is a must! I used pink maggots on Fri. & Sat. but my friends were uslng corn with Anise scent on Sat.
Very few fishing boats on the lake, everyone must be parked on the rivers!

Are there still logs everywhere? Last Wed. it was like a slalom course with all the debris.

I was up Saturday and it wasn't too bad. The area between Campers Hideaway and Speelyai in the middle of the lake was the worst but nothing too huge. We ended up with 8 varying sizes and stages of spawning kokes. Had twin 4 year olds on board and it kept them entertained for a few hours.
