pretty much any name brand is going to work fine I use maxima ultra green and a hi vis yellow when stacking so I can track it better. but you are going to find it's a ford vs chevy thing. dfly
For trolling i use 10lb Maxima Ultragreen on the line counters and all pre-tied leaders are with 8lb. Never had a problem in over 20 years of useing this line... plus the pre-tied leaders coil up nice for storage. For jigging i use a 10' section of 6lb Maxima Ultragreen on a spinning reel loaded up with Tuf-Line XP Indicator braided line (color metered every 10'.)
I just had 8# Maxima ultra green put on a couple reels and bought a couple spools of 12# Seguar florocarbon for making up leaders. I think it is going to work better for me than the 30# braid that I had put on them. Hope so at least.
Strike Zone
I have been using P-line for past 5 years and have been happy with it. I did find that the fluorocoated line fluoresces with a black lite that is suppose to simulate UV.
I'm pretty much agree with Strike Zone 10# max Ultran Green /12 florcarbon on leaders/ and braided line on reels used for jigging. I use P-line alot on my Salmon reels with I like alot also
