Not too many details other than my favorite lake was only putting out rainbows this year, and my newly found favorite lake has been a gem "this year" and kept me going back for more so far this season!!!

See you on the water,
Winterun

Awesome Joe!!!! Nice Pics!!!! Great to hear that the new lake is producing. Haven't been getting out as much as I typically do. So guess I've got some catching up to do. Getting ready to start working the Salt Water soon.

Slayer!!
Ha Ha, no catching up is necessary in my book you know that! You do quite well when your on the water wetting a line anyway!!!

Yes, salmon season is finally upon us, and after my annual trip for the chinook opener July 1st at Sekiu, it has me wanting more of those thumb burning, line peeling runs that make you weak in the knees. I'm ready.... but if the tides too big, or the rivers are blown out, you'll know which lake to find me at!!!
Take Care My Friend,
Joe

Tom,
I noticed that your a bit farther south than I normally fish. So I apologize if my review is not as detailed or insightful as you like. I don't usually read posts from other states as there's too much water out there to try and learn them all. So I can understand why you don't care.

My post was more addressed at the folks I know that fish the same lakes that I do and can relate to what type of season we've had up here. So I didn't want to re-hash the gear/techniques, etc. I was using, only because I'm doing the same thing as everyone else.

Take it easy,
Joe

Hi Joe,

I have looked around and still can't figure out what part of the state you fish in. Stradic posted some very nice fish pics from there and I would like to give some of those fish a try!!

I am sorry if my original post was out of line. I reread it and I am not sure what I was thinking when I posted it.

Peace, Tom

Hey Tom!

No worries!!! I usually give folks the benefit of the doubt, and get ahold of them in a PM or just ask what's up!?!

I fish primarily American Lk since it's only 10-12mins away from the house. Since it was not producing as well this past spring, I swithced gears to Summit Lk (which is 45mins away) the end of May. So most of my reports were from Summit all of June and most of July, and a little sortee to American after Stradic posted some pics of some big kokes from American recently. So I've been collecting data in regards to the kokanee fishery for the Region 6 biologist on Summit Lk. the past couple of months.

Who knows next year it'll be a different lake that will be a good spring producer!

Take it easy,
Joe
