There are several products made to mount stuff on your boat But when I bought mine used it all ready had 4 Fish On pole holders installed. Sooo when I mounted my DR's I bought a couple extra pole holders and adapted them to fit the side mounted holder brackets. Then I made up a base to fit the stem of the pole holder so I can use it to put the DR's in any of the 4 side mounts. I can turn the DR to any angle just like the origional pole holder.

On 1 of the DR base I installed the Lure Jensen trolling speed bracket so it fit under the DR boom now I can see the speed dial and the DR at the same time.

I am posting this because I know most of you all ready have pole holders mounted on your boats & with a little work you can make up a mount for most anything!

My next one will be for a small BBQ!

Sorry but I am TERRIBLE at posting pictures!

I know where you are coming from. The two scotty mounts I have on my boat are going to double for wake board and knee board holders. Because the flat square mounting decks stay permently screwed on top of my gunwall, I got an Idea to put them to use for the few times we play on the water. I'm going to make those forked holders you see on top of the towers on those wake boats. they will have a base that screws into those scotty plates. this way I don't need a tower and the play toys are not on the bottom of the boat bouncing around. If I just knew what to do with the cotton picking tube!
