I have a question one of the new theorys introduced is UV (ULTRA VIOLATE) I know it enhances florencent colors, but is it a new gimmick to catch fisherman or fish. I can see were to much brightness in clear water (like are high lakes) could repel fish, instead of attracting. completely invisiable to the human eye and one needs a special camera to view. I'm a firm believer in Glow in the dark but UV ?

I believe that there is a benefit to using UV. But like you, my feeling is why spend the Money for UV? Go straight to Glow in the Dark. I have both, but used my Glow in the Dark at all depths last year and they worked great. So why have both. Maybe some one can provide an answer.

The test of any lure or dodger is "does it work". See the video here:

Those fish were all caught on UV dodgers. They are very effective in low-light situations, which was the case when I caught that 20lb Brown on one.

I completley agree on the sling blade or dodgers with UV. They are a big help. With Hoochies, I am doing really well with a Green Tipped and a Orange Tipped glow in the dark version.
