I will give you a smal little tip there is a book WHY COLOR MATTERS/ THE MASTER FISHERMAN by Phil Rabideau it can be purchased at STS MAGAZINE like under $15.00 Mr.Rabidueau is retired from Meppes lures. Read it and you will understand Why things work the way they do in different water conditions and temperture and believe me your sucess will even be better. This would really help in any one selections

where did you buy your materials from?

Bought 80 blades from Hagens T3 T4 in brass and silver.
Tape was purchased from WTP inc and allseasonsports.
Going to try my hand at painting some this week if all goes well.

I will look into the book about colors, sounds like a great read. I have caught fish on these colors last year, a couple of the blades I tried mixing up the colors a bit hopefully they will work.

Your blades look great. I've been wanting to make some custom of my own. I looked at the Hagans catalog and it says quanities of 500 min. Just a few more than I need. Sounds like they will sell smaller quanities?

I dig this out of another site.....I didn't read the fine print of the catalog.

For Hagens..... the minimum order shown is for prices listed. Page 1 of the catalog explains that if you order less than the minimum, you simply add $1/ea to the price. Actually, you add $1 per line item. So if a blank nickel dodger goes for $740 per 1000, that equals $1.35 each. If you order only 10, then your total would be $10.35 plus $1.00.
