My fish finder is broken, What should I buy?

Any suggestions? I had a hummingbird with gps and need one with gps to track my speed.

fishfinders are like cars just buy the one that sits you best, go to a sporting good store and ply with there demos and see what you likenananana

Are both sides of your current one broken? Any chance of using in full screen of the side that works and then have a second unit that is then full screen for the other function?

no it just wont turn on, i checked and double checked the power and ground circuits. then opened it up to look for a fuse inside or a burnt circuit board, found niether. it had been losing its signal from the tranducer once in a while also, so i am glad to see it go.

I just installed a Lowrance Mark-4. It has S.O.G, water temp, GPS, and it is a chart plotter (mark your hot spots). It has a micro SD card slot so you can get a mapping card for many lakes. I have not fished with it yet but it is user friendly and has a brilliant black over white display. Best of all it was $199.

Thanks tracker I ended up with the color version of that finder, now if it will stop raining I can go use it.
