I have heard through the grapevine,that a new wyo state record koke was caught. Anyone heard about this ,or the details?

I heard the same thing so I'm going out tomorrow to break it again. I'll be in a white and silver Crestliner . I will scream real loud when I catch him so you'll know it's me !!!

yep 6.32lbs caught out of buckboard, came from down deep from what i heard at buckboard this weekend.
been watching waiting to see when it would get posted.

Yeah, I hear it was an older couplethat have only fished the Gorge 3 times. Coulda been us...oh well, next time!

They drove from Carson city NV to from what I heard also, quite the trip but very much worth it to.
Would like to have caught him, or his older sibling lol

I think that there is a good possibility that the record may be broken a couple time this year.The kokes that we have caught ,are heavy for this time of year. That 7 lber might be a good possibility in Aug.

Well I didn't catch any records but the fishing was good at Buckboard. The fish are all over the water column, we caught them from 10 feet to 40 feet down. The size of the fish was all over the place also. We caught 20 inchers and 6 inchers ! Pink was the ticket, caught some on spoons. We landed 14 , half on the downriggers, half on the planer board using snap weights. I can't wait to go again !!

Tom, glad you caught some nice fish,and hopefully it made your trip worthwhile. I have been spending more time at fontenelle myself. Waiting to see if it will get full enough to go over the overflow.

It was a good day, makes the drive worth it. In the planning stages again wanting hit up Strawberry just to cut off 2hrs driving time. It seems like it takes days after to recover from a Gorge hangover. The Gorge will probably win out the next trip after the Koke record fell.101smily101
