I had an interesting email exchange with Scotty over the past couple days. I was looking for multiple downrigger locks all keyed the same. I hate having big honking key rings. Below is their response.

Hi David,
Unfortunately it is not possible to get 4 sets of locks #3133 all keyed the same?
We are discontinuing all the locks.
There is a new lock system coming out this summer which will allow you to use your on pad lock.

It will be interesting to see what this looks like. The 3133 set I inquired about includes locks for both the downrigger bolt and the rotating mount.

So I guess I will wait until the new and improved model comes out, and see if it really is.

Dave on mine I use a long ss tamper proof torx head bolt for the hinge and a torx flat head tamper proof for the base and on the bottom riser pad I know it's not a lock but most thieves don't have torx wrenches much less tamper proof in there tool box and the bottom scotty factory locks you can just bend out of the way with a screwdriver any how. if you haven't seen them they are a regular torx with a pin in the center so a regular wrench or anything else won't go in. like I said it's not a lock but the longer a thief has to mess with it the less likely they are going to try here's a pic.

This is what I love about this group, somebody has always addressed the problem and is willing to share.

DF where did you get the bolts and sockets, I am sure my local ACE does not carry them.

Dave my sockets are Snap-On, but napa can get them also I believe harbor freight even has them. the bolts were imports I got off ebay but I think fastenall Tacoma screw or beaver bolt can get them now. I called fastenall this morning they are checking now and I will let you know what I find out here local. dfly

haven't found the long ones local but fastenall has the button head. the button head is .437 diameter. you will need a flat washer for the most strength and 1 1/4 works for that. you only need one on each piece, if you have risers you will need one for that they run about 70 cents but ace may have them in there specialty drawers our Newberg ace has a large selection of tamper proof but I don't know if they have SS. the fastenall # is x20170040ssx500 for the 1 1/4 button head. dfly
