New Melones 5-23-10

Met up at the lake with Trouble at 6am. Not to windy so we tried the dam first for nothing! Wind started to pick up so we headed up river where we stayed the rest of the day. Kokes were 12-14in. Caught most of them on a watermelon doger and watermelon apex 25-35ft. OTW. Farmed more than we boated! UGH!

THANK YOU Trouble for taking me out for another great day on the lake!

Way to go you two! I was thinking of hitting one day up there this coming holiday weekend but there is a 3 day Grateful Dead concert and Glory Hole Sports warned they have extra security etc. so maybe I'll pass till later.

Probably a good call to avoid Melones this weekend. Maybe we'll see you at Berryessa instead. I plan to fish Sat & Sun.
