The reports a week late but I fished the Kokanee Power 2-Day Team Fishing Tournament last weekend with my daughter. Fishing was good and the fish were very feisty with line peeling runs and aerials to entertain us as well as get off the hooks.
Rachel and I opted to fish as a team so we could work together instead of against each other if she entered the juniors. The fish were mainly in the 13.5 to 14.5 range and the ones that you wanted were the 15+ ones. We caught them in numerous places on the lake with a variety of spinners, hoochies and tubes in the 30 to 50 foot range.
Highlights of the weekend were back to back doubles on Sunday before we pulled the plug but we only landed 1 of the 4 fish as we looked at each other as to who was going to net first. Also managed to bury a hook in my finger in the midst of a flurry of action on Sat morning that I had to later pull through... once we caught a few more and the bite turned off of course.
In the end it was a great derby and lots of familiar faces and camaraderie on and off the water. We ended up in 20th on Sat which was a better bite but then dropped down on Sunday as we could not find the bigger fish but we had our opportunities.
Here's the picture show and video link:

Also in HD (above water video only) if you use the lower right option.
Sunrises were great on each day...
A typical fish that was "Assassinated"
The natural "Bug" lure... see the video on this one...
Whatever lake we go to this boat is hanging around... I told them there was nothing to see here and to move along. (Captain Khanh and his daughter Connie in their lake boat).
