Stonesfan and I talked last night, and arranged to meet up at Glory Hole Sports, this morning at 5-5:30. Good thing I had that half hour buffer, because my trailer came off the hitch, and introduced itself to the back of my van. Ouch! Seems my run of bad luck is continuing.
We launched at Tuttletown, with only 5-6 rigs in the lot, and headed for Shipwreck. The wind was blowing hard enough to make things difficult with my small boat, so that, coupled with not catching any fish, prompted a move after about 2 hours.
That was good thing. We headed across to the Dam, seeking sanctuary, and it was granted, along with a couple of nice groups of fish, which we worked to fill out our limits. We had a double, I netted Stoneys, and then he got mine, both in the net, and in the box.
We headed in about noon.

It was a another "Pink" day

Short setbacks, we were working tight today.

Didn't mean to leave that out!
I ran a Sep's 4/0 Starbrite dodger, with a pink splatter spinner on one rod, and stacked a second line 10 ft above, with a nickel/pink slingblade, and RMT pink assassin spinner on the other. Stonesfan ran one Koke rod, same setup all day, which was the first one I mentioned. It works very well there, and I'm sure elsewhere.
