New member in Wa moved down here form Ak bout 4.5 yrs ago and well just got into this whole silver/kokanee fishing in the last year.
So i thought i should introduce myself and well i just went down to riffe for a weekend of camping and fishing. I pulled my limit everyday i was there. Went down on the fourth and came back on saturday. The largest one i cought was around the 15in mark but the average was 14in. Anyways. Been reading on the board for a little while now mostly just taking it all in. this was my first time ever fishing on riffe i mostly fish alder, clear, and american. If your got any questions bout those lakes i might be able to help....yet to pull a bunch out of clear but been fishing there some not enough clearly. I try to make it out once a week. Names dan hope to see some of you guys out there. I hope my pics work

Oh well the week sure was fun. Got some more fish for the freezer. after my trip home to alaska and over 70lbs of reds for the freezer might be time to invest in a seperate freezer for the garage. Anyways thanks all for all the advice gotten from all of you. feel free to pm anytime. If anybody has any advice please let me know! I have been having a hell of a time out on american this year last fall i was killing em but this year i have yet to get one in. only been catching a bunch of rainbows. Thanks and full stringers to all.

Looks like im gonna have to head out to american and troll and work hard to try to get a few out of there. Maybe they will have some size to em. Any ways heres some pics form this mornings outings.

Glad to see that you found the Forum!!

Great pictures & I like the looks of your boat. Can you tell me more about it? I am thinking of down sizing next year to something like your's.

Well it a 16ft lund fury... I just picked it up the spring... I had a 14ft livingston for a while and this thing is a huge improvment over that old thing. All it has is a 25hp of it and it will do 27 or so with me and my dog and fishing gear add in the soon to be wife and its 25mph and now add one other person its doing right around 22.. I love it. I think if i was to redo the purchase i would have gone with the 30 or the 40 that you can do. It trolls a little fast at about 1.4-1.8 idled down. I have a bow mounter trolling motor i use to slow me down even more if i need to. I want to get one of the controllers for it before long. It has a ton of dry storage and a livewell to locking rod holders It can hold all my koke rods. I love this thing has running light and bildge pump. I also love that i fill up a six gallon gas tank maybe once a month.I go outg once or twice a week either in the local lakes in search of kokes/landlocked silvers or out in the sound in search of there bigger cousins. One of the best parts is you can run standing up and can see everything. Oh and did i mention it fits in my garage.

Heres a bunch of pics.
