New to the forum introducing myself

Hey there im New here and thought I'd introduce myself. I recently moved to green river ,wy and it has been a life long dream of mine to fish the gorge for its giant lake trout. Now living with it in my back yard im taking full advantage of it. I have sense bought an 18' boat and on the water every chance I get only problem is I cant get a Laker to save my life. I can get everythimg else,rainbows ,kokanee ,but no Laker . Anybody have any tips for me? I've tried trolling jigging everything.if anybody would be willing to take me out and show me how its done I would be happy to trade custom gun work for your help. Thanks

Use the same technique for Macs that you use for Kokanee only troll around steep structure. I can be set at 40-50' and run onto some structure and pick up a laker almost every time. Pups of course but never-the-less a laker. If you're looking for the big boys then you ought to hire one of the many guides on the lake. Heck, they might work a trade with you like you're looking for?
