I've just moved to Central Oregon and have discovered kokanee fishing. I'm hooked! Being retired, I have the time to go after these fish. I'm looking forward to gleaning information from all the experienced fisherman so I too can become proficient at this fishery.

Welcome. You have to get to Wickiup this spring when it opens. One of the best koke lakes around. Definitely won't find any harder fighting kokes anywhere in the NW.

Yes I was a construction electrician for 35 years. I did just about everything from running a service truck to running a new hospital project. Glad to be out and have more time for fishing.
