Number of Utah Koke Lakes

Bduck tells me that there is rumor of some more Utah Koke lakes in the works. I'm hoping that you locals can keep up on that intell and keep the rest of us posted. 4 to 5 Koke lakes in the entire State is definitely not enough.

Not looking to put out any false information but I have heard of some possibilities for additional Kokanee lakes. At this point I haven't scene anything in concrete but the rumors sound strong. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

How would that be possible? Where would the DWR get the funds, didn't they just shut down a hatchery in Vernal.

It looks like a pretty little lake but located in the wrong direction. :-(

Electric Lake is also a concerned lake for AIS. 101smily101 There are suppose to be other lakes coming into the program sometime in the future. Lakes like Causey have no launch facilities only carry in boats. Porcupine L can be launched in easily at full pool but once the water levels drop, its harder for the larger boats to maneuver to the waters edge.

It's a small res but State Line Res has kokes in it. I fished it once years ago but haven't heard from anyone that has fished it in a while. Anyone else ever fished it? I'm thinking about fishing the Pig this weekend, anyone fished it since ice off?
