What to do , where to go , what kind of fishing do you guys have planned for the Fall & Winter months?

Trout and maybe some Stripers here and there. Will be at the big Shasta Lake Trout Derby this coming weekend for the two day derby. Normally I'd be tinkering around trolling for the big salmon but those have been driven to near extinction for the most. Lots of idle gear in that department.

Fishing is never over! It's just on to the next species. After doing the Shasta Derby with HiTech this weekend it will be sturgeon time on the Multnomah channel for me. Probably need to see the water temp drop a little more before it gets good though.

I've got a friend with acreage on the Kalama so we may try hitting the winter run from the banks and wading. While waiting for the koke season this Spring I plan on polishing and repainting the ol' boat.

Hey Nuts, don't put the boat away yet. The WDFW Weekender Report says there was a late plant of trout down the road from Merwin at Swift.
