Us old girls got it together and headed out early. We got to American Lake at a little after 5am and realized I can’t go fishing until it gets light. So just before 6am I launched. About 10 minutes after launching I have my first fish. It was not fast and furious but I got my limit in about an hour and a half. These fish were 13 inches but hefty. Twice I thought I had weeds but it was a fish. I used a yellow Seps dodger that glows and a new orange beaded lure with a fire tiger blade I made up. Green maggots and corn was bait. I got the fish from 25-31 feet down in 59-65 feet of water. The lake was very calm without a breeze.
