Had a spare hour before starting to bring in the new year so I decided to hit up a local creek that has been holding ducks all year, and more and more and more ducks as it gets colder. At first walk up two hens and drake jump, 1 shot, 1 drake. Another drake jumps immediatly to my left and down he went too!!! I sat down to wait out the last half hour of shooting hours and immediatly a loner greenhead comes diving in, and down he went!!! 3 for 3...... thats unheard of for me. Shortly after 2 drakes and a hen are cupped up and coming into the creek. Another shot and another greenie down!!! That was it for shooting hours and I couldn't complain to end the the 2012 hunting season!!!!
