I played hookie yesterday to go with my buddies to the Sac ISE show yesterday. It looks like the show shrunk a bit yet again this year due to the economy and high costs to vendors to be part of it. Also, there wasn't a legitimate RV to be found anywhere at the show this year. I was only able to fill about 1/2 the shopping list I came with as some of the vendors that did come came with just a portion of their inventory. Pro Cure Scents took a big chunk of my money spent as did Jared & Cory at RMT. I was really disappointed that Blake, with Radical Glow, chose not to make the show. I wanted to spend another $100 at the Primos hunting booth but they didn't have any hunting sticks, just some calls and archery accessories. All in all, the best part of the day was spending time with my friends and talking fishing. As for lessons learned, if you know the vendor you want to see at your show, try to e-mail them ahead of time to make sure they bring the items you want and will hold them for you.

I was in need of a new lucky fishing hat so I picked up a new RMT hat and invested heavily in the new, expanded line of hootchies. It looked like there was some new dodgers as well but I've got so many dodgers now that my boat almost won't plane. The RMT pricing was great and no sales tax to boot.
 
Dave I think that you answered your own question with why Blake wasnt there. The economy and the cost to come down to the show for that week was costing him more than he made. Give him a call. He will be glad to hook you up and fill your order I'm sure.
 
Not sure about SLC Roger, I will be talking with him soon and will let you know. I do know that he has some new tubes out that are top shelf and we will have them in the RMT booth in SLC for sure if he is not there.
 
I hope us RMT prostaffers in ca get to get the new stuff soon. i have been waiting it to come out .

If you do talk to him Mark, I sent him an e-mail a few days ago and have not heard back from him. Let him know I'm waiting. ;-)
