so what is the trick to order squid bodies from osprey-tackles.com i couldnt find how to order from them and my dad has tried contacting them for order info. with no replies. anyone order here? whats the secret?

The site is from China and they instruct you to request a price list via e-mail. They also have a phone number.

well, i sent the email request. hopefully i hear something from them. like i said, my dad has not had any luck getting any replies. if not, i guess there are other places to order them.

from what ive heard you have to buy them in a qty of 1000 and its like $45 shipping

I've been using 1.5" tubes instead of squids, they're cheap and come in lots of colors.I've had great luck with them. How do you guys like tubes VS hootchies? But really I've gots to know ,can you order hootchies out west?I bet they're tough to ship and bet the wife asks lots of questions when they arrive. 101smily101101no101

well, they got back to me pretty quickly. and yes, you have to order a lot. ha ha. minimum of 200 packs (5/pack) of the same color. $0.37/pack. they will send you a shipping proposal once you propose an order to them.

I purchased over a thousand from someone who bought 10K. The problem is making sure you know what you are buying.

This is where I get all of my hoochies silverhorde.com , I just saw that you can't order directly from the site tho. The factory is just a few miles from me, if you know what you want, maybe I can pick it up for you.

The Hoochies work great but I am going to tie up some tubes as well and give them a shot this spring,101chromefish101 I see no reason why they wouldn't work as well!

we used a pretty odd combo this year up on whidbey island for silvers. my cousin and uncle, who lives up there, use a buzz bomb with a hoochie on top. looks a little goofy, but it worked! this was all off the beach, when it was too rough to troll for em.

Most all of the best hoochies at Silver Horde (Gold Star) come from Yama****a. They are in Japan. Pogue is correct it is a great little shop. They do much custom painting on spoons and dodgers there as well. There is a relatively new micro series...1.5 inches long, slender with no eye, but limited color selection. I had good luck with them last year. They are available at many of the finer tackle shops in the greater seattle area.... Like Ted's!

The censor department grabbed the name of the company as you can see....the pronunciation is "Yama shee ta". Hopefully this will get through.
