Anyone fish at Oxbow near McCormick Park? A buddy told me this is a great place to go but I have never fished there. Any information (when, where, how, etc.) would be great. Thanks.

Great bass fishery. Not sure about right now though. It's right below the Brownlee dam so there's a bunch of water going through right now.
Also, paper yesterday said no drinking water right now, just fyi. so take it with you.

Thanks Spoons. How about the Crappie fishing in Oxbow? We would not be able to make it ther until middle of June...do you know if that time of year is "typically" good or bad?

Honestly, I'm usually fishingfor crappie in the Hells Canyon reservior or Brownlee. That time of yar you shoul dbe catching pretty much everything but it slows down some after the spawn.

Below Brownley Dam Oxbow Pool

Yes that would be a good time to go after Crappie, Bass, and Channel cat. Anchor out below spill way on Oregon side. I've caught hundreds of crappie, and others mentioned above. Should have a great time catching fish.
