Pardee 4-1-11

They were not big and I didnt get very many of them but....................THE 2011 KOKE SEASON HAS STARTED FOR ME!!!!!
Fished Pardee yesterday for the first time in 10yrs. looking for some early season Kokes. I have had the fever bad since 916 posted that pick of the 14.5 incher. After filling out paperwork and getting inspected I motored over to the mouth of the river. Pink apexs behind pink hyper plaid did the most consistent for me. Boated four lost four today. VERY soft mouths on these little fish. Fished from the mouth to about half way up the river arm. There was an army of boats further up the river,I mostly just tried to stay away from the crowd!

Lures: Pink Apexs (Both UV and glow)
Dodgers: Pink Hyper Plaid
Sent:Garlic
Depth:5-25 feet

My first almost limit stick for 2011!!!!!!!!!

HB, I was in the "crowd" slaying Rainbows. It was a beautiful day to be on the water and the fish were cooperative enough to keep it interesting.

SD Did you target any Kokes? I know you have been busy making making new gear!

I ran one rod for kokes the first couple hours of the morning but when the trout bite started opening up I swapped it out for what was working on the trout.
