Love Kokanee fishing

Has anyone fished these in the last few days? Long week at work and I need to get my Koke fishing on early Sun morning. Looking for info so I can hook up. I just can't afford downriggers for my boat this yr. Any suggestions on how to figure out how deep you are according to how many strips of line?
