Even though I only gots 4 kokanee trips under my belt I've limited every time but it's taken hours & hours to do so. That'll probably improve with a fishfinder and something to tell speed I'm sure. Anyhow being true to my handle this next weekend after I get the 1st fish in the box I'm putting away my usual rigs and giving plugs a good ole' try.
I've caught tons of trout all over the state and silvers at Riffe on plugs. I don't see why I shouldn't be able to grab a koke or two on them as well. That and I just can't stand not to have a plug in the water all day long.
I've got boxes and boxes full of Hot Shots, Flatfish, Wee Tads and Warts got to be something that'll shake em up.
I'll give a report sunday night.
I'm thinking hot shots and flatfish aren't going to work to well with a dodger but have caught many behind gang trolls with them. So it'll probably just be wee tads and warts behind dodgers.

I've used apex type lures successfully for Kokes on Merwin behind a dodger but nothing on Rapalas or similar plugs. Good Luck! Bob R

Don't be afraid to run the flat fish naked. I stumbled upon wee tads or lymans for kokes running them naked. You aren't running uncharted waters by any means. Those lures will catch fish for sure. Most will just tell you they aren't their first choice lure.

Took me forever to limit today. I got 1 in the box within 2 mins outside the bay on a #60 green pirate\copper belly hot shot behind a gang troll. Lost 2 on the same set up. Size 70's would roll over. Hooked and lost one on a metalic pink tiny tad. Also lost 2 on a fluoresant pink X-4 Flatfish.
After losing 5 fish on the plugs I went back to hootchies so I could get er done.
