Gotta call from Mark (AKA Kokanee_Slayer) on Friday and asked if I was fishing on Saturday and I replied I don’t know I’ll check with the wife and see if she had anything planned. Well nothing was planned so I called Mark back and said nothing planned so he invited me to fish with him on the sound in his boat. We met up and motored down to point defiance and Mark threw a rig at me and said put this on it’s what I’d been catching the Silvers on so I did and about 30 minutes later fish on a nice 28 inch Silver. We fished hard for several more hours and put some time in and only had a couple more take downs we missed. Had a good time and great conversations on the boat, mostly joking about some seal conservation that needs to happen. Thanks Mark had a great time and thanks for letting me borrow your go to rig!
