Tuesday of last week we were fishing about 1/2 mile south of the pipeline at the mouth of that big canyon on the west side. We had a pop-gear and worm down 20 feet off the down rigger and caught a beautiful male koke. His color was beautiful. Well anyway reeled him in and saw that the single worm hook in his jaw so I leaned over with the pliers and just rotated it out and he was on his way. Never touched him and he never left the water. It took 3 attempts to get down but he made it and hopefully he can find a nice looking lady koke.
