My wife and I headed up for a quick day trip on Friday (6-7). We fished just outside of the Anvil Draw boat ramp. We caught 2 koke's that weighed in at 2 lbs and kept 4 others that weighed in at just under 1 1/2 lbs. We caught the 2 biggest ones on a orange splatter blade squid from KCT at 25'. We had the most hits on a pink squid at 20' from Christians lake shore tackle with a pink splatter dodger from shasta. That setup also produced a 3 lb rainbow that my wife swears that the Gods were listening to her. Moments before her rod popped out of the downrigger she looked into the sky and said please let me catch a rainbow to. All fish are in a brine solution waiting for the smoker except for the one we ate for dinner last night. I would post pic's but we seem to have lost our camera. We launched at 10 am and left at 2 pm when the wind was too much.
