Report 16-17 Aug 13

Got a bit of a late start Friday, still managed a limit of fish. Fishing was slow near pipeline marking lots of fish but no biters moved around to the east of entry to pipline area. Rawlins Im guessing. Untill we found a school that was willing to bite. Fish averaged 2-3 lbs most were still silver. UV orange squid and hyper plaid dodger was the ticket. We did get one red one and saw another feller that had caught one in the four to five lb range that would have made an excellent mount very red full blown spawner. Maked lots of lakers hugging the bottom. Tossed out a 3in white tube on my ultra light outfit and hooked up a nice 5-6 lb'r lots of fun on the light and rod 6lb test. I will try to post picts. As always the time spent at the Gorge was to short. Going back Sept 6th-9th Gues I will be targeting Rainbows and Lakers. Hope to see you there. Lucerne A20

We stopped by A-20 around 4pm on saturday but that campsite was empty. We fished the pipeline from about 10am to 1pm. We managed to catch a couple of macs and one koke.
