Ririe is Frozen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sat 15th Jan
Made 3 trips this week to ririe.
Ice is is/was in good shape.
Today it was getting soft at the edges and 2-3 inches of water and slush on lake. Mserable. But there was 25,0000 people out. ok alot the parking area was more than full sides and middles crammed tight 1 way trafic lane up and down clear to top with people parking on top.
Hooked 2 really small ones and 2 medium kokes in 5 hours, that was in 5 min and they were gone.
Never seen any group go crazy this morning.
Other days Limit one time.

And unless it freezes again take boat ;-)

Mother Nature is pissing me off.
Mother just give us some cold and no more snow.
MMM I was going to see if you wanted to meet up tomorrow morning.

No hut. I'm pretty easy to find. I generally fish off the Island. I'm wearing full camo and there is a snow shovel standing up against my sled. That was my pic with the Kokanee in the post register on Thursday. Let's go get um as soon as the ice is good again! Right now everyone is falling into the 10" holes. With the water on the ice and no snow you just can't see the holes until you are in them. 101shock1101

I thought the black hut on the mackay pictures was yours been looking for it. Guess i should have asked .
Hope it freezes again good.
Have my fish finder and jigging machine ie:for attractor hole coming this week.
And only have 1/2 a smoker load

Ice is fine

Fishing was ok caught 3 soon as getting there.

Well fishing was kinda slow today but we had a good time. We started out fishing near the ramp and it didn't take long and the Kokes came in but didn't seem real interested in being my dinner. They would hang around for 10 minutes or so and then leave and come back after 30 minutes or so. They stayed on this cycle until the sun came out from behind the clouds and then it was dead. We managed to hook a few despite their reluctance. I decided our best chance at any more action would be to try and find some perch and trout. We headed to the west side and started marking a few perch on the humminbird flasher but they had a case of lock jaw. Ended up with 2 nice perch (10"and 9") and a trout. We gave up about noon and on our way out stopped by to see if anybody had gotten into the kokes. They reported the school had been by about every hour but very few had been caught.

How was the weekend fishing....
I dint make it up over the weekend.
Did go last wen thur and fri.
Caught them on all 3 days, Around 15ft .
Guess I better get up tuesday morning, give it a try before work.

Lil Cold this morning .
But school wasnt cancelled and they come thru about 9:30
The weekend was good both sat & sun was done by 10:00 and 11:00

15-inch Nice for Ririe
Got to look harder for you Don. Went again this morning and caught another 15 it was lunch Had limits by 9:30
Dont know about in the morning will see what time it is when waking.
