Roosevelt Lake Advice

Gonna make an attempt at Roosevelt Kokes this next weekend. Been a VERY long time since I tried it. When I last tried it I went in near Porcupine Bay and it was tough tough fishing.... very slow. All day for 1-2 bites kinda slow. Anybody have more recent info? Most recent post I see on here is over 2 months old. I'd even consider going in someplace else. Any advice appreciated.

Launch at Spring Canyon and fish Swawilla Bay, a few miles up river. I fished an Apex at 70' and caught 2 18 inchers. Good luck.
